Focus and Scope
Acta Orthopaedica et Traumatologica Turcica journal (AOTT) publishes diagnostic, treatment and prevention methods related to orthopedics and traumatology; studies in basic sciences. The Journal accepts all clinical and research articles, case reports, contributions from personal clinical and technical experiences, brief reports of original studies or evaluations, book reviews, domestic and foreign article abstracts, data submitted to conferences, congress and meetings yet unpublished in order to evaluate for publishing.
Peer Review Process
A technical board to check for manuscript preparation reviews the manuscripts initially. The technical board may ask for some corrections before sending the manuscript to the scientific board. The scientific board edits the reviewed manuscripts. At the end of the evaluation period the author/s will receive a letter of acceptance and the manuscript designed for the journal's standards. The author/s will sign each page and turn it back to the technical board. If the scientific board rejects the manuscript or if there is a need for revision, the corresponding author will be informed.
The journal is published 6 times yearly.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
