Abstract
Epiphyseol separations due to birth trauma occur rarely. but are gaining great ephasis regarding prognosis. A seporation presenting a spontaneous anatomical reconstruction in the distal femoral eplphysis of a newborn has been described. In such epiphyseal separations the grcıwth cartilage involving the development potential of the bone seems to be quite interesting to be dependent upon the epiphyseol region. and this condition plays a significant role in respect of the heoling result.

Doğum travmasma bağlı olan epifiz ayrılmaları ender ortaya çıkarlar, ama prognoz yönünden önem kazanmaktadırlar. Bir yeni doğanın distal temur epifizindeki, spontan anatomik rekonstrüksiyon gösteren bir separasyon açıklandı. Böyle epifizer ayrılmalarda, kemik gelişme potansiyelini içeren büyüme kıkırdağının epifizer bölgeye bağlı olarak kalmasi oldukça ilginç olarak görünmekte ve bu durum iyileşmenin sonucu yönünden önemli bir rol oynamaktadır.
