Abstract
Congenital Scapula Alata (Sprengel s Deformity) has difficult surgical treatment strategy due to many accompanying congenital deformities. At the orthopedic Department of the Istanbul Medical Faculty, University of Istanbul, we surgically treated 11 cases weth median age 7.2; 6 of them had a Woodward operation, 2 Green op., 3 upper pole resection. Here, we present the late results of our cases after a median follow up of 25.9 months compared with the results in the literatüre.
Özet
Doğuştan yüksek skapula birlikte bulunan diğer konjenital anomalilerin de sıklığı nedeniyle tedavisi birçok güçlükler arz eden bir deformitedir. İstanbul Üniversitesi İstanbul Tıp Fakültesi Ortopedi ve Travmatoloji Anabilim Dalı nda yaş ortalaması 7.2 olan 11 vakaya cerrahi tedavi (altısına Woodward, ikisine Green, üçüne izole skapula üst uç rezeksiyonu) uyguladık. Ortalama 25.9 aylık takip süresine sahip olan vakalarımızdan aldığımız sonuçları literatür bilgisi ışığında sunduk.
