The success in the treatment of the pseudoarthrosis of the humerus is related to the exact decision of the type of the non-union. According to Müllers classification it is the treatment of choice applicating plate fixation and grafting in atrophic type, revitalization and plate fixation in hypertrophic reactive type. Rigid immobilization is not neccessary if a stabil osteosynthesis was achieved.

Humerus pseudartrozlarının tedavisinin başarılı olması için pseudartroz tipinin belirlenmesi önemlidir. Müller sınıflamasına göre atrofik tipte plak greftleme, hipertrofik reaktif tipte ise bölgesel canlandırmayı takiben sadece kompresyon plağı uygulaması yeterli olmaktadır. Postop rijit tespite stabilizasyon yeterli ise gerek duyulmamaktadır.
