Abstract
Diabetic muscular infarction is an uncommon pathology. We present a diabetic 27-year-old woman who developed muscular infarction in the hamstring and vastus medialis muscles of the left thigh. She complained of pain in the left thigh together with a mass. The precise diagnosis was made on histopathologic examination of the open biopsy specimen. Despite chemotherapy and rest, symptoms still persisted after a follow-up period of eight months.

Diyabet zemininde gelişen kas nekrozu nadir görülür. Bu çalışmada, sol uyluğun hamstring ve vastus medialis kaslarında nekroz gelişen, diyabetli 27 yaşında bir kadın hasta sunuldu. Uylukta ağrı ve kitle şikayetleri ile başvuran hastada, kesin tanı açık biyopsi sonrası histopatolojik olarak kondu. Kemoterapi ve istirahat tedavisi verilen hastanın şikayetleri sekizinci aydaki kontrolde de devam etmekteydi.
