Abstract
Between 1989-1995, in the Orthopaedics and Traumatology Department of Gülhane Military Medical Academy Haydarpaşa Training Hospital, we performed closed Salter and varization derotation osteotomy for 12 patient s 12 hip which had residuel subluxation after a conservative treatment. The average age of the patients at the time of the operation was 18 months. The average duration of follow-up was 38 months. The average preoperative acetabular index was 30°, CE: 4° and CD: 151°. The average postoperative acetabular index was 17.6°, CE: 27.7° and CD: 136°. At the latest follow-up radiographic evaluation according to the classification of Severin, %66.6 of the hips had excellent results, and %33.3 good results. According to the system of Kalamchi and McEwen, 2 hips which had avasculer necrosis were Group 1 and 1 hip was Group 2. The most recent clinical evaluation according to the classification of Berkley-McKay, %75 of the hips had excellent results and %25 good results.

1989-1995 yılları arasında GATA Haydarpaşa Eğitim Hastanesi Ortopedi ve Travmatoloji Kliniğinde konservatif tedavi sonrasında rezidüel subluksasyon saptadığımız 12 hastanın 12 kalçasına kapalı Salter ve varizasyon-derotasyon osteotomisi uyguladık. Ameliyat sırasında hastalarımızın ortalama yaşı 18 ay olup, or-talama takip süremiz 38 aydır. Preoperatif ortalama asetabuler indeks 37°, Merkez kenar açışı (CE) 4° ve Kollodiafizeal açı (CD) 151°’dır, Postoperatif ortalama asetabuler indeks 17.6°, CE 27.7° ve CD 136°’dir. Hastalarımızın sonuç radyolojik değerlendirmeleri Severin kriterlerine göre yapıldı ve %66.6 çok iyi, %33.3 iyi sonuçlar elde edildi. Kalamchi-McEwen kriterleri ile yapılan değerlendirmede; iki hastada Grup 1, bir hastada ise Grup 2 avasküler nekroz saptadık. Berkley-Mckay kriterlerine göre yapılan sonuç klinik değerlendirmede: % 75 çok iyi, %25 iyi sonuçlar elde ettik.
