Abstract
Between 1992 and 1994, 23 patients who had been suffering from primary gonarthrosis were operated in Orthopaedics and Traumatology Department of Taksim Hospital. The short-term results of 24 endoprosthesis were evaluated. The prosthesis was implanted bilaterally in only one these patients. The evaluation of the patients was performed by using the \"Knee Socity Scorew criterias. The mean preoperative and postoperative knee score were 37 and 81.3 respectively. The mean preoperative and postoperative functional scores were 43.4 and 81.8 respectively. Physiological valgus angle was obtained in 22 of patients, and sign of loosening was seen in only one of the patients. Of the 24 knees, 20 had very good results, while 3 had good and 1 had fair results. Poor results was not seen in any of our patients.
Özet
Sağlık Bakanlığı Taksim Hastanesi Ortopedi ve Travmatoloji Kliniği nde 1992 ve 1994 yılları arasında primer gonartroz nedeniyle total diz endoprotezi uygulanan 23 hastanın 24 dizi ile ilgili erken neticeler değerlendirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu vakalardan yalnız birinde bilateral olarak protez uygulanmıştır.Değerlendirme (Knee Society) Diz Cemiyeti kriterlerine göre yapılmıştır. Preoperatif dönemde vakalarımızda ortalama 37 olan diz skoru, postoperatif dönemde 81.3 e yükselmiştir. Yine preoperatif dönemdeki ortalama diz fonksiyonel puanı 43.4 iken postoperatif dönemde 81.8 puana yükselmiştir. Vakaların 22 sinde fizyolojik valgus açılarına kavuşulmuş, sadece bir vakada gevşeme Iehine bulgular saptanmıştır. 23 hastanın 24 dizinin 20 sinde çok iyi, 3 ünde iyi, l inde ise orta derecede sonuç elde edilmiştir. Kötü sonuç alınan diz olmamıştır.
