Abstract
60 wirst arthrographies in 58 patients (average age 30.2) who were admited ortopaedic clinics of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Akdeniz, were carried out in order to assess the value of the wrist arthrogaphy in cases who suffer from wrist pain and no considerable complication was identified. Pisortriquetral Recess was demostrated in 73% of the cases and capsular irregularity (synovitis, tendon sheath filling and Iymphatic drenage) was found in 32 out of 60 arthrograms (53.3%). The most frequent pathologic findings were Triangular Fibrocartilage tear in cases whose plain radiograms were negative (30%) and Midcarpal fillings in whom plain radiograms were positive (40%).
