The problems related with the treatment of bone defects, atfer open fractures of the tibia were discussed. Various forms of bone grafting, operatons which can be applied according to condition of the soft tissues and the size of the defect, were reviewed. Some cases were presented from our clinic material as examples trom the application of Huhn-Huntigton operation.

Tibia açık kırıklarından sonra oluşan defekterin tedavisindeki zorluklar üzerinde duruldu. Yumuşak dokuların durumuna vs defektin büyüklüğüne bağlı olarak, uygulanabilecek çeşitli kemik grefti ameliyatları hatırlatıldı. Bunlar arasında olan Huhn-Huntington ameliyatının kliniğimizdeki uygulamasından örnekler verildi.
