Three of them were treated in the Orthopedic and Traumatology Department of Hacettepe University Medical School, two cases were treated in our department of Gülhane Military Medical Academy and one case was treated the Hospital of the Social Security of Ankara. Concervative therapy was applied in five of these cases, and early surgical therapy was carried out only one case. The only complication occured in one case surgically treated and in two cases treated concervatively. Traumatic Dislocation of the knee joint is an uncommon and dramatic injury and treatment is urgentiy required. The dislocation of the knee joint is associated with extensive soft tissue damage and danger of neurological and vascular complications. The dislocation must be reduced immediately with or without anesthesia. After reduction of the joint carefull observation should be carried out for signs of vascular insuficiency and damage to the common peroneal nerve. After reduction of the knee joint a compressive bandage should be applied
